HIDE

I learned to hide.
And I allowed myself to be hidden
until my heart was strong enough
to be seen.

I grew quietly
in the shelter of unseen love.
I was nourished.
I was protected.
I am grateful
for the years I lived
without you.

In silence,
I kept my dream —
to walk your uncharted world
only in the safe corners of my thoughts.

Until you arrived,
not perfect,
but real.
And reality awakened me.

PLUNGE

You reached for my hand.

An invitation —
not to safety,
but to depth.

To plunge
into the wide sea
of the unknown.

And I,
once hidden,
felt something fierce rise within me.

Passion.
Courage.
A long-waiting fire.

I chose to jump.
To dive.
To swim.

Not because the waters were calm,
but because my heart
was finally brave.

RADIATE

Just before I rise for breath,
I see it —

Not who I was,
but who I am becoming.

Soaring.
Transformed.
Wrapped in light
like diamonds against water.

I do not glare.
I radiate.

Soft.
Certain.
Unapologetically alive.

I believe now
that I am
who I was meant to be.

And you, my darling,
are not the reason I became —

But you are
the sweet, inevitable witness
to my becoming.
